Lyle M. "Waldo" Scott, II of Drew Road, Clarks Mills, (Perry Twp.) passed away early Friday, May 27, 2016 at the UPMC- Presbyterian following a short illness. He was 52.
Lyle was born in Greenville on July 9, 1963 a son of Lyle M and Helen F. (Bartholomew) Scott, on July 15, 1989 he married the former Daphney L. May who survives. He was a 1981 graduate of the Commodore Perry High School and had worked as a transmission mechanic. He enjoyed racing of all kinds, whether it be radio controlled cars, NASCAR or Motorcycles and was a member of Lucky 13, R C Raceway, Hannaville. He also enjoyed camping and one of his biggest enjoyments was watching and cheering on his nephew Luke as he participated in his sporting activities.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, his mother, Helen F. Scott of Clarks Mills, a brother, Kenneth L. Scott and his wife Michele of Hadley, a sister in law Bonnie Firle of Sandy Lake and two nephews, Luke A. Scott of Hadley and Doug Hawk of Sandy Lake.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lyle M. Scott.
The funeral service for Lyle will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville with Donald Scott, cousin of Lyle officiating. The committal service and interment will follow at the Hadley Cemetery.
