Zelda M. (Wallace) Bigusiak

Zelda M. Bigusiak,, Meadville (Union Twp.) passed away Wednesday evening, June 7, 2023, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.  She was 95.

She was born in Canton, Ohio on March 28, 1928, a daughter of the late Roy and Myrtle (Young) Wallace.  She had been married to Andrew Bigusiak, who preceded her in death, on December 20, 1991.

 Zelda enjoyed baking, playing Scrabble, and solving crossword puzzles with her dear niece, Pat Huson.

She is survived by her son, David B. Bigusiak and Irene, 6 grandchildren, Maryann Carlini, Linette Hays, Kevin Hays, Courtney Beatty, Anthony DiSalvo, and Sara Pitts, 10 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Andrew, a daughter, Kristine Holt, a sister, Leona Householder, 3 brothers, Lloyd, Wilmer, and Wilber Wallace, an infant brother, Delbert, and a great-grandson, Trey.

The family will be honoring Zelda’s life with a private family service at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.  Mrs. Bigusiak will be laid to rest next to her husband, Andrew at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Meadville

The family has suggested that memorial tributes may be made to the Lakeland Area Hospice, 4635 E. Lake Road, Erie, PA 16511.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
