Susan A. Craven of White Oak, PA passed away quietly and peacefully, joining our Lord, Thursday, June 30, 2022, after a very long and courageous battle with cancer.
Susan, locally, was affectionally known as the “Crochet Lady” for her masterful crochet products she turned out on a daily basis; it was her favorite hobby. She made friends with everybody she met. She was a very caring person, which led to her career in Health Care. She became both a Certified Nurses Assistant and a Certified Phlebotomist. She worked at many venues during her career, such as UPMC McKeesport, various doctor offices, medical service offices, nursing homes and private home health care.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, Rob Craven of White Oak; a son, Robert (Krystina) Craven of Cranberry, PA; daughters, Lynn (Dan) Moyer of Hadley, PA and Melissa (Joseph Yeager) Craven of Penn Hills, PA; sister in laws, Lisa (Craig) Craven Vaughan of Gainesville, FL, and April (Michael) Pasko of Hanover, PA; a brother in law, Scott Craven of Glassport, PA; an aunt, Julie (James) Toth of White Oak, PA, as well as many cousins, nephews, nieces, friends and six grandchildren with number seven on the way, and her fur babies Rocco and Caesar.
All friends and family are invited to “Celebrate her Life” and what would have been her 66th birthday on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at the Dravosburg Masonic Lodge, 200 Duquesne Avenue, Dravosburg, PA 15034 at 2:00pm rain or shine.
