Sue E. Rodemoyer, Mercer, (Coolspring Twp.) passed away early Sunday morning, May 16, 2021 at her residence. She was 77.
She was born in Mercer on June 19, 1943 a daughter of the late Verne L. and Marian (Taylor) McCartney. On January 14, 1960 she married Paul A. Rodemoyer who survives. Sue had been a bus driver for Watson, Inc. for over 31 years. In her younger years she enjoyed crocheting. She followed the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Being an avid reader, she had read the entire Danielle Steel collection. As each May approached, she would look forward to putting out her hummingbird feeders and always delighted in seeing their arrival and continuing to feed at her feeders.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Paul A. Rodemoyer; two sons, Paul A. Rodemoyer, Greenville and Scott E. Rodemoyer and his wife Marisol, Youngstown; 4 grandchildren, Jared McClure, Seth Rodemoyer, Vicky Jones and Alexandria Rodemoyer and 4 great grand children, Jesse Rodemoyer, Miranda Heldreth, Corinne Jones and Dominic Jones.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Sharene Moore; a granddaughter, Angelina Marie Rodemoyer and a sister Jill Volmer.
Family and friends may call on Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 169 Second Street, Fredonia.
