Stanley R. Scriven, Sr., Greenville (Salem Twp.) passed away unexpectedly of natural causes in the UPMC Horizon, Greenville Emergency Department on Sunday, afternoon, April 18, 2021. He was 61.
He was born in Grove City on June 9, 1959 a son of the late Richard E. and Betty June (Perry) Scriven. On April 21, 1978 he married the former Karen L. Becker who survives. Stanley had been employed at the former R.D. Werner Company from Oct. 1, 1979 - 2003, he then went onto work for Signature Aluminum from 2003 – 2009.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Stanley R. Scriven, Jr, Greenville and Jason P. Scriven, Greenville; a daughter, Ashley J. DiSilvestri and her husband Luke A., Greenville; 3 brothers, Richard Scriven, Transfer, Daniel Scriven and his wife Pat, Atlantic and Fred Scriven and his wife Janette, Sheakleyville; three sisters, Judith Griffith, West Middlesex, Kathleen Campbell and her husband, Jerry, Leavenworth, KS and Pamela Wright, Sharon. Two grandchildren, Stanley R. Scriven, III and Harmony Dahman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Saundra Catalano and a brother, Timothy Scriven.
