Robert L. "Bob" Mills

Robert L. “Bob” Mills, Clarks Mills, Perry Twp., passed away early Wednesday morning, March 6, 2024, at his residence.  He was 76.

He was born in Mercer, on June 17, 1947, a son of the late George E. “Ted” and Mary E. (Homes) Mills.  On October 21, 1967, he married the former, Sandra J. Coon who survived.

Bob, had been employed as the parts manager at the former Joe Mulvaney Ford, Greenville, and then went on to be employed by PennDOT from where he retired following 27 years of service.   He was a past president of the Mercer County Antique Power Association and the Allegheny Highland Pulling Association and was a member of the Northwest Pennsylvania Truck and Tractor Pulling Association.  He always enjoyed watching and supporting his three children in their tractor-pulling endeavors and enjoyed camping and hunting. Bob, was an avid collector of anything Ford, amassing a collection of Ford toys, and various memorabilia, along with many larger working Ford tractors.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; three children Melissa K. (Robert) Slagle, New Castle, Jason L. (Angie) Mills, Clarks Mills, and Rob W. Mills, Clarks Mills; a sister, Connie (Miles) Shatto, Harrisburg and two step-grandchildren, Carolin and Delaney.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 4:00 -7:00 PM at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville concluding with private family services.  Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.snyderfh.com
