Robert B. Anderson, Greenville (Salem) twp. passed away at 10:13 pm on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at the UPMC Montefiore, Pittsburgh. He was 83.
He was born in Greenville on December 20, 1937 a son of the late Joseph A and Olive Elizabeth (Stevenson) Anderson. On December 31, 1985 he married the former Sandy L. (Brown) Adams who survives. Bob was employed in his early years at the Bessemer and Lake Erie Railroad and the R.D. Werner Company. He then went onto work for PPG Plant 8, Meadville retiring after 26 years of service.
Bob enjoyed wood working in his workshop and later enjoyed wood carving, He also enjoyed gardening and tending to his many flower beds. Singing was a large part of Bob’s life where he sang in the choir of the First United Methodist Church, Greenville where he was a member and with the Sweet Adeline Barbershop Quartet, Meadville.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sandy at home; his children, Joe (Kathy) Anderson, Greenville, Kenneth (Cathy) Anderson, Greenville, Stacey (Dave) Morgan, Greenville, Terri (Dan) Bozzo, Kinsman, OH, Shawn (Rich) Marshall, Grand Junction, CO, Linda Eikelberry, Sheakleyville, Barb (Scott) Miller, Huddleston, VA and Ken Adams, Greenville; his grandchildren, Charity (Dave) Shrock, Joey (Allison) Anderson, Chad (Cara) Anderson, Courtney (Rick) Ramirez, Luke (Stephanie) Morgan, Jacob Morgan and his fiancée Cassie, Brittany Keep and her fiancé Shane, Derrick Keep, Nevada Walker and his fiancée Nikki, Rachael Morgan, Madelyn Morgan, Kayla Adams and her fiancé Travis, Travis Adams, Shawn Miller, Scott (Nina) Miller, Roxanne Neal and Alan Reeves and 28 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Steven Douglas Anderson and Paul Rowland Anderson and a granddaughter, Chelsea Leigh.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy, Sheakleyville.
