Randall R. Bowser, Sheakleyville, passed away early Tuesday morning, January 24, 2023, at his home. He was 65.
He was born in Kittanning on March 23, 1957 a son of the late Robert G. and Gertrude E. (Smith) Bowser. On October 16, 1976, he married his high school sweetheart LeeAnn (Hoobler) Bowser. Randy was employed at PPG Industries, Meadville until he had to go on long-term disability, at the age of 39, due to ongoing health problems.
Randy loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He also loved to hunt, trap and fish when he was able to. The first words out his mouth when someone shot a nice buck or caught a big fish were, “You had better take that to Higgens“ [taxidermy]”.
In addition to his wife, Leeann, he is survived by his children, Kristy (Chris) Zarecky of Hadley, Shannon (John) Deal of Hadley, and Robert (Paige) Bowser of Cochranton; a sister Sondra (Tom) Vosler of Greenville and a brother, Daniel (Pam) Bowser of Hadley. He adored his five grandchildren: Alyssa and Gunner Zarecky, Landry and Finlee Bowser, and Savannah Deal.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Thomas and Gladys Bowser and Alfred and Hazel Smith.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., with Pastor Adam Stump of the Clarks Mills United Methodist Church officiating.
