Philip E. Dillaman, Meadville (Hayfield Twp.) passed away in the comfort of his home with his family by his side on Friday evening, November 27, 2020. He was 77.
He was born in Meadville on May 16, 1943 a son of the late Edwin and Eleanor (Clifford) Dillaman. On August 8, 1998 he married the former Mildred M. Glancy who survives. Through the years he was a dairy farmer on the family farm and has been employed by DeVore Construction, Inc., Meadville. Following his retirement, he enjoyed raising horses with his wife.
Philip was a member of the Little’s Corners United Methodist Church, was a 38 year member of the Western Crawford Masonic Lodge # 258, Conneautville and a 45 year member of the Hayfield Central Hose Company. He was an avid hunter and was instrumental in the founding and organization of the Norrisville Sportsman Club.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred; three sons, Brian Dillaman, Kevin Dillaman and Jody Dillaman; 4 step children, Tabitha Boyer, William Glancy, Venus Glancy and Kimber Jones; a brother, Rodger Dillaman; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Elsie and a twin brother, James Lee Dillaman.
The family will be honoring Philips life at a later date.
