Patsy (Rader) Bish

Patsy Bish, Fredonia, passed away Monday morning, January 18, 2021 at the Orchard Manor, Grove City.  She was 80.

Patsy was born in North Freedom, PA. on June 21, 1940 a daughter of the late John Matthew and Lucetta (Broddors) Rader.  On May 26, 1956 she married Glenn E. Bish who preceded her in death on September 29, 2020.  She had been employed as a nurse’s aide at the Country Side Convalescent Home and the former Avalon Inn, Mercer.  She was a member of the Fredonia United Methodist Church and the Fredonia Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxillary.

Patsy is survived by two sons, Harold G. Bish and his girlfriend Billie, Fredonia and John Bish, Fredonia; two daughters, Patty McClure and her husband Brian, Fredonia and Linda Bish and her wife Deanna Westlake, Sandy Lake; a sister, Dolly Kunselman, Pensacola, FL; 4 grandchildren, Matthew Bish, Monnica Fowler, Gregory McClure and Michael McClure and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Betty Jane Shaffer, Sarah Agnes Brocious and Mary Alice Shaffer Hanna and a grandson James L. Bish.

For those comfortable in attending the funeral and committal service will be held on Friday,January 22, 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 169 Second Street, Fredonia with Rev. Eric M. Peters, pastor of the Fredonia Presbyterian Church officiating. Patsy will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Millbank Cemetery.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family online at www.snyderfh.com.
