Patrick S. Sekely

On December 16, 2020 our beloved Patrick Stephen Sekely, age 44, left this earth on to join his heavenly family.  Patrick was known for his enormous and giving heart, but it was just not strong enough to see him through.

He passed with his sweetheart, Sarah Smith, by his side.  He is survived by his parents, Steve and Kathie Sekely; his brother; Christopher Sekely, life partner, Sarah Smith; Aunt, Bonnie Sekely; and many cousins.

He was predeceased by  family members Stephen and Rose Sekely, Norman and Beulah Finlay, Susan Finlay, and William Sekely.

Patrick was a graduate of Northwood University (1998) and Moon Area High School (1994).  He was passionate about helping others, all things automotive and mechanical, his chickens and farming. 

Due to Covid restrictions a private service will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Sheakleyville.  The Celebration of Life for Patrick will be lived streamed on this page on Sunday, December 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM

A memorial service will take place at a future time when restrictions are lifted.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Heart Association, Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank.

When you think of Patrick, celebrate the good memories you have of him. Remember that life is fragile and short and should be lived to the fullest.
