Obituary

Nancy L. Eckart, Cochranton, Deer Creek Twp., passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023, at the Meadville Medical Center, Liberty Street.  She was 68.

Nancy was born in Greenville on Nov. 5, 1954, a daughter of the late Charles G. and Ruth A. (Boyland) Rust.  She had been married to Walter Gudenburr who preceded her in death on February 2, 2015.   She had been employed in food service, having worked at the Allegheny College, The Greenville Country Club, the former Lakeview Inn, and at Miller’s Franklin.

She is survived by her son, Frank (Jennifer) Eckart, Cochranton; two stepdaughters, Sheila Gudenburr, Cochranton, and Kathy Gudenburr, Erie; three grandchildren, Ashely Eckart, Volant, Dakota Eckart, Meadville, and Kaitlyn Eckart, Cochranton; two step-granddaughters, Samantha Douglas, WA and Emma Myers, Cochranton, and 3 great-grandchildren, Liam and Jackson Fulton, Volant and Raelynn Eckart, Greenville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Walter, and a sister, Linda Eckart.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
