Mary Ann Hanna, Fredonia (Delaware Twp.) passed away early Friday morning, April 23, 2021 at the UPMC – Jameson, New Castle. She was 61.
She was born in Grove City on January 13, 1960 a daughter of William H. and Joan L. (Anderson) Ringer. On August 16, 1980 she married Thomas E. Hanna who survives. Mary Ann had worked at the former Coach Diner, Fredonia, then baby sat children in her home, she then went onto work for the Greenville Veterinary Clinic for 20 years. She had been an active member of the Fredonia Volunteer Fire Department having served as the secretary for over 32 years and as an Emergency Medical Technician for 16 years. She was a member of the Fredonia United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Tom; her mother, Joan L. Ringer, Fredonia; a brother, William H. “Tex” Ringer, Jr. and his wife Sue, Fredonia; two sisters, Lisa Ringer, Fredonia and Sheri Valimont and her husband Van, Fredonia; a sister-in-law, Cathy Ringer, Fredonia and many nieces and nephews.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her father and a brother, John L. Ringer.
Family and friends may call at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 169 Second Street, Fredonia on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 pm and on Wednesday at the Fredonia Presbyterian Church, Water Street, Fredonia from 10:00 am until 11:00. Private family services will follow with Rev. Eric M. Peters officiating. Mary Ann will be laid to rest at the Millbank Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be shared online at www.snyderfh.com.
