Mary M. (Shepler) Kenyon

Mary M. Kenyon, Jamestown, (South Shenango Twp.) passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home, Thursday morning, April 29, 2021.  She was 98.

Mary was born in Rockford, Ohio on February 5, 1923 a daughter of the late Robert and Marrinith (Roberts) Shepler.  She had been married to Albert Miller who had preceded her in death and then married Willard James Kenyon on Oct. 24, 1948 and he preceded her in death on Sept. 27, 1995. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and took great pride in tending to her flower beds.  She also had assisted her husband not only on the family farm but also working along his side in his carpentry trade.

She is survived by her children, Carolyn (Larry) Andrews, Utica, Janet Kenyon, Jamestown, Colleen (Charles) Whitton, Tionesta, Raymond (Karen) Kenyon, Watervliet, MI and Kimberly Moses, Jamestown; a brother, Robert Shepler, Mt Cory, OH; a sister, Lenore Reiter, Mt. Cory, OH.; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; both of her husbands; two brothers, Charles Shepler and Carl Shepler; two sisters, Leona Morris and June Rempher and a granddaughter, Robin Bryer.

The funeral service will be held on Monday, May 3, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.  She will be laid to rest at the Peters Cemetery, Venango County.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm.
