Linda M. (Peterson) Smith

Linda M. Smith, Cochranton, Greenwood Twp., passed away early Friday morning, November 4, 2022, at the Grove of Greenville, she was 79.

Linda was born in Fairfield Twp. on May 25, 1943, a daughter of Ruth E. Peterson, On September 8, 1970, she married Alvin D. Smith who preceded her in death on November 24, 2002.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed listening to country music, playing bingo, and going to garage sales.

Linda is survived by her sons, William K. (Janet) Peterson, Hadley and Troy L. (Karen) Peterson, Meadville, 4 grandchildren, Brandon Peterson and his girlfriend Sam Hays., Autumn Storm Peterson, Nicole (Luke) Killmeyer and Sara (T.J.) Phillips; 4 great-grandchildren, Karter Phillips, Remy Phillips, Nolan Killmeyer, and Serenity Hays.

She was preceded in death by her mother, her husband, a brother, James E. Peterson, and a sister, Sarah L. Neeley.

Private family graveside services will be held at the Cochranton Cemetery where Linda will be laid to rest next to her husband Alvin.
