Karen I. (Aunty) Campbell, Fredonia (Delaware Twp.) passed away unexpectedly in the Emergency Department of the UPMC - Horizon, Greenville Campus early Monday afternoon, August 9, 2021. She was 74.
She was born in Pittsburgh on April 28, 1947 a daughter of the late Hugh E. and Helen (Edminston) Campbell, Sr. She had been previously employed by Grove City College working in the cafeteria department.
“Aunty” as she is fondly known to her family and friends, always enjoyed her family and the times that she could be with her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She always enjoyed a cup of coffee and appreciated the companionship of her dog, “May”.
She is survived by a nephew, Richard J. Rosser, Sr. and his wife Cheryl, Fredonia; three nieces, Michele O’Rourke and her husband Kerwin, Pittsburgh, Traci Prentice and her husband Tom, Pittsburgh and Amy Campbell, Pittsburgh; a brother-in-law, Richard Rosser and his wife Cheryl, Hadley. Many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Hugh E. Campbell, Jr. and a sister, Joan T. Rosser.
Family and friends may call on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 169 Second Street, Fredonia from 2:00 -6:00 PM. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 6:00 pm with Rev. Eric M. Peters, pastor of the Fredonia Presbyterian Church officiating.
