Joanna Sue Hamilton, Grayson, KY. formerly of Cochranton passed away early Saturday morning, October 9, 2021, at the King’s Daughter Medical Center, Ashland KY. She was 46.
She was born in Meadville on April 19, 1975, a daughter of Edward and Patricia (Chapman) Deeter. On Sept. 10, 1999, she married Brian K. Hamilton who survives. She had been employed at the Hill Air Force Base, Utah and in management at Legoland / Sea Life. She enjoyed her family and being a mother to her children. She was extremely supportive of her husband in all his endeavors. She enjoyed, fishing, go cart racing, demolition derbies, reading history and always wanting to learn. Sue, possessed a passion for cooking, was a phenomenal cook. She is remembered by her family for her quick wit and humor. Recently, she picked up the hobby of gunsmithing. She was a member Our lady of Lourdes Church, Cochranton.
In addition to her loving husband and best friend, Brian, she is survived by her three children, Katrina (Luke) Mackie, Frisco, TX, Alexander Hamilton and his girlfriend Kim, Woods Cross, UT and Michael Hamilton, Grayson, KY, her parents, Edward and Patricia (Chapman) Deeter, Cochranton, her mother-in- law, Roselyn Hamilton, TX; two sisters, Kimberly Ann (Ron) Irwin, Cochranton, Sherry Deeter, VA.; three brothers, Rob (Mickie) Chapman, Cochranton, Tim (Laura) Popp, Cochranton and Billy Deeter, VA. Many nieces and nephews.
Sue was preceded in death by her grandparents, Oakley and Alfreda Deeter, Joe and Willie Sue Chapman and her father-in-law, Keith A. Hamilton.
A Mass Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 11:00 am at the Our Lady of Lourdes, 215 S. Franklin Street, Cochranton with Rev. Jeffrey Lucas officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Greenfield Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville on Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
