James Robertson Obituary

James R. Robertson, Sandy Lake, (Mill Creek Twp.) passed away early Saturday morning, May 14, 2022, in the comfort of his home with his family by his side. He was 89.

He was born on July 08, 1932, a son of the late James S.M. and Elizabeth (Kepple) Robertson. Mr. Robertson served honorably with the U S Air Force and had been stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He was a truck driver for Shaffer Trucking, New Kingston, Pa. from where he had retired in 2007. On June 28, 1986, he married the former Judy Andrews, who survives.

In addition to his wife, Judy, he is survived by two sons, James (Catherine) Robertson, Toledo, OH and Christian Robertson, Auburn, PA; a sister, Mary Hourt, Buffalo, NY; 2 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, 4 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son Robert Robertson.

The family will be privately honoring the life of James with no services scheduled.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
