Frances "Fran" A. (Reeher) VanEpps

Frances “Fran” A. VanEpps, Greenville, Hempfield Twp. passed away at her residence unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, May 17, 2023.  She was 63.

She was born in Greenville on September 7, 1959, a daughter of the late Arthur G. and Sarah Irene (Peach) Reeher, Sr.  On August 28, 1982, she married Thomas L. VanEpps, Sr. who survives.   Fran had been employed in her early years at the Sharon Steel Corp., she then was a homemaker and after having raised her children she worked at Big Lots and St. Paul’s Home in the dietary department for 14 years from where she had retired.  She was an avid crafter of all sorts, enjoying sewing and painting.  She loved her family and cherished the moments she could share with them.

In addition to her husband, Tom of nearly 41 years, she is survived by her children, Kelli (Zack) Van-Epps, Fredonia, Donald P. VanEpps, Fredonia, Thomas L. (Jennie) VanEpps, Jr.,  Greenville and Jeffrey G. (Caryn) VanEpps, McKean; a sister, Mary (Robert) Hettrick, Sheakleyville and a brother, James Martin, Greenville.  11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Arthur Reeher, Jr., and Thomas Martin.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, May 20, 2023, at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville from 1:00 – 4:00 PM concluding with a time of sharing.
