Edward R. Conrad

Edward R. Conrad, of Hadley, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022. He was 74.

Ed was born in Pittsburgh on August 22, 1948, to the late Catherine (Marbella) Woodrick. He graduated from Lakeview High School and went on to work at Clinch Tite in Sandy Lake as a forklift operator and foreman for 43 years. He participated in a bowling league in Greenville for Kelso’s Garage of Fredonia. He also belonged to the Eagles Club in Greenville for over 30 years.

Ed is survived by his wife of 27 years, Stella K. Conrad; three sons, Bryan and Kris Conrad of CA, Chris and Stephanie Conrad of GA, and RobertConrad and Lori McCracken of Sheakleyville; two stepchildren, Gary and Deanna Barnes and Robin and Deroy Holliday both of New Castle; a brother, Kenny and Joy Woodrick of Pittsburgh; and 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine; brothers, Mike and Marvin; and a sister, Cissy Van Kirk.

He was a wonderful husband, dad, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Private family services will be held and he will be laid to rest in Oak Park Cemetery in New Castle.
