Earvin "Jimmy" James Powell

Earvin James “Jimmy” Powell, Greenville, passed away Sunday evening, February 14, 2021 at the St. Paul’s Senior Living Care.  He was 68. 

He was born in Greenville on May 25, 1952 a son of the late William J. and Evelyn (Flick) Powell.

He was a truck driver having been employed in the western states.  He enjoyed working with wood and making furniture and was an avid hunter. He had dutifully served with the US Marine Corp. from 1970 -1972 and was honorably discharged.

He is survived by a sister, Norma Powell, Greenville and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Gary.

Family and friends may call at on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 5:00 – 6:30 pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville, the funeral service will follow at 6:30 pm.
