Donna J. (Pears) Larimer

Donna J. Larimer, of Hadley, passed away early Thursday, February 29, 2024, at her home. She was 90.

Donna was born in Greenville, PA on May 27, 1933. She was the daughter of the late Karl and Dorothy (Slater) Pears. On December 31 , 1954  Donna married her husband, Wilbur R. Larimer , who passed away on February 3, 1991.

Donna was a homemaker, raising her children. She was a member of the Sheakleyville United Methodist Church and Rebekah Lodge #496, Greenville. Donna enjoyed crocheting, ceramics, and crafts shows, she appreciated and enjoyed watching the many birds that would come to her feeders and bird baths.

She is survived by her children, Glenn (Ellen) Larimer of Lexington, NC, Steven (Sue) Larimer of Hadley, Myrna McGee of, NY, and Pam McKee of Atlantic; two sisters, Elsie (Will) Huff of Greenville and Carole Fisher of Saegertown; eight grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, and brothers, Clair Pears, Keith Pears, and Kahle Pears.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy Sheakleyville with Rev, Sally Bell, pastor of the Sheakleyville United Methodist Church officiating. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, March 4, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm and on Tuesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Hadley Cemetery.
