Cora M. (Hall) McAdams

Cora M McAdams, age 88, of Fredonia, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 in Hospice Care at AHN Grove City.

Born August 31, 1931 on her family farm in Fredonia, Fairview Twp., she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Agnes C Burns Hall.

She was a faithful member of the Fredonia Presbyterian Church, where she was in charge of the kitchen for dinners and funeral luncheons.  She will be remembered for her delicious homemade rolls and cinnamon buns.

Cora was a member of a women's card club, a 50 year member of the local grange, and a 1949 graduate of Stoneboro High School.

She loved family get togethers, baking, canning, gardening, and her pet dogs.

She is survived by her children Carl (Dee) McAdams of Fredonia, Larry (Patty) McAdams of Fredonia, Kathy (Larry) Williard of Transfer, Susan (Bruce) Kunkle of Cambridge Springs, Nancy (Charles) Sirianni of Hermitage; 14 Grandchildren; and 22 Great Grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald E McAdams, whom she married May 5, 1950 and passed away July 23, 1986; and her infant great grandson.

For those comfortable in attending, the family requests masks and will receive family and friends on Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM at the Fredonia Presbyterian Church, 24 Water Street, Fredonia.  The funeral service will follow at 1PM in the church with Rev. Eric M. Peters officiating.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Millbank Cemetery.
