Charles Eccles Obituary

Charles Lynn “Bud” Eccles of Espyville, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday March 22, 2020 after an extended illness at his residence.

 Bud was born January 19, 1949 a son of the late Charles J. Eccles and Betty (Coe) Eccles Morgan. He was a graduate from Linesville High School in 1966. On May 7, 1994 he married the former Martha (Varner) Augustine who survives. Bud worked for PPG for 40 years from which he retired. Bud was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed wood working and playing golf.

He is survived by his wife; two sons, Duane Eccles and his wife Kim of N.C. Charles J. Eccles ”Buddy” and his wife Bonnie of Meadville;  a step daughter Valerie Reese and her husband Ken of Hartstown; three granddaughters, Amy, Jasmine and Rachel Eccles; two grandsons, Mason Reese and his wife Alex and Gage Reese; and one sister Nancy Holland of Saint Leonard, Maryland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a stepfather, William Morgan and a sister, Kathy Shelatz.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Asera Care Hospice and in particular, Angie, Chris, Jen, Juliann, Tracy and Stephanie.

No services are scheduled; he will be laid to rest in Linesville Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
