Timothy A. Hanson

Timothy A. Hanson, Mercer (Coolspring Twp.) passed away with his family by his side on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the UPMC- Jameson.  He was 58

He was born in Bangor, Maine on June 4, 1960.  He was married to the former Joan D. Hurta on April 28, 2001.  He had retired as an over the road truck driver from Transport America.  Tim was a diehard New England Patriot fans and supporter.  He loved the out of doors and working in his garage.  He was a devoted and loving family man always putting his family first and enjoying the moments he could share with his wife, children and grandchildren

He is survived by his wife, Joan; his parents, Gorham and Linda Hanson, Plant City, Florida; 4 sons, William Russell Hanson and his fiancé Kim Clarke of Hadley, Christopher A. Hanson and his fiancé Samantha Felix of Mercer, Timothy A. Hanson, Jr and his fiancée, Tiffany Hoover, Mercer and William Gilger and his wife Lori of Hermitage; a daughter, Katrina Toothaker of Pueblo, Colorado; a sister, Marjorie Hanson of Tampa, Florida; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother Earl “Skip” Hanson.

The family will be honoring the life of Tim as a later date with a gathering to Celebrate his life.
