Teresa (Housler) Hosick

Teresa (Housler) Hosick July 8, 1969 – August 23, 2018 Teresa (Housler) Hosick, 49, of Meadville, died Thursday, August 23, 2018, at the Meadville Medical Center. Born on July 8, 1969, Teresa was the daughter of Max and Sherry (Howell) Housler.

Teresa graduated from Otto-Eldred High School, Duke Center, Pa., in 1989, and attended the Hiram G. Andrews Vocational Center in Johnstown, Pa. She loved Perkins Restaurant, her many friends at dialysis, the Pittsburgh Steelers, going fishing, playing games on her phone and tablet, CB Club, stuffed animals, cooking, bonfires, camping, peppermint tea, Mountain Dew, learning more about autism, Betty Boop, and Gospel Music.

Teresa is survived by her partner of 20 years, Harry “Duner” McCaslin, two sons, Kenny Lee Hosick (Miranda) and Justin Lee Hosick, two stepsons, Brian Flagg and Jeffrey Flagg, two sisters, Lisa (James) Kayes and Gay (Dayton) Mix, a brother, James (Jo Renee) Housler, several nieces and nephews, as well as three sisters-in-love, Carol (David) Williams Garlick, Peggy Hatch, and Sally (Jim) Irons, a brother-in-love Terry (Mel) McCaslin, and a friend, Raymond Moore.

Family and friends of Teresa are invited to attend a memorial service in her honor on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 2:00 p.m., at Grace United Methodist Church, 828 North Main Street, Meadville, Pa., with the Rev. Rebecca Patterson and the Rev. Dayton D. Mix, co-officiating. The family is requesting no floral arrangements be sent.  Those wishing to make memorial tributes may send to Lisa Kayes, 702 Maple Ave., Olean, NY 14760. Contributions received will be placed into a trust for Teresa’s son’s.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the direction and care of  ROBERT  L. SNYDER FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville, Pa.
