Savilla Beatrice (Cramer) Bear

Savilla Beatrice Bear, 110 Fredonia Road, Greenville (Hempfield Twp.) passed away Sunday Evening at the Grove at Greenville.  She was 91.

She was born in Springfield, Ohio on June 11, 1925 a daughter of the late Burlie and Ortie I. (Bush) Cramer.   On January 15, 1943 she married Lewis N. Bear who preceded her in death on March 26, 2007.   She was a homemaker and a member of the former Christ Community Church, Delaware Twp. where she enjoyed singing in the choir, had taught Sunday School and participated in the Vacation Bible School Program and was currently was a member of the Bethel Life Worship Center, Greenville.  She enjoyed singing and had belonged to the Barbershop Quartette – Harmonettes. 

Mrs. Bear family played a significant role in her life and she always enjoyed the moments she was able to share with her family and friends.  Throughout the years, Mrs. Bear showed her compassion and concern towards others by being a care giver to many family members and friends.

She is survived by a daughter, Sharyn A. Link and her husband Ted of Greenville; two sons, David A. Bear and his wife Lynn of Statesville, NC and Martin L. Bear and his wife Judy of Greenville. 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter

She was preceded in death  her parents, her husband, 3 brothers, George Cramer, Charles Cramer and Paul Cramer; 3 sisters, Georgia King, Elizabeth Johnson and Eunice Aubel and a grandson Tim Bear.

The funeral and committal service will be held at 2;00 pm on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the Bethel Life Worship Center, 246 S. Mercer Street, Greenville, with Pastor Kent Bell officiating. The interment will follow at the Delaware Cemetery.  Family and friends may call on Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 169 Second Street, Fredonia and are invited to share memories and condolences with the family online at snyderfh.com.
