Samuel Eugene Wilson

Samuel Eugene Wilson, Orangeville Road, Greenville passed away at 11:16 am on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at his residence .  He was 68.

Samuel was born in Decator, TN on November 30, 1949 a son of the late George F. and Velma J. (Cathey)Wilson.  On July 22, 1967 he married Janet L. Blair who survives.  He had been employed by Sharon Steel Corp, Trinity Industries and Duferco Steel, Sharon from which he had retired on 2012.  He was a member of the Sharpsville Masonic Lodge # 517, The New Castle Consistory and the Zem Zem’s, Erie.  He enjoyed the companionship of his dog “Ivy Rose”  and enjoyed hunting.  He is remembered by his family for his gentle and kind personality and his willingness to always help other.

In addition to his wife of 50 years, he is survived by two daughters, Serena Mott of Springboro and Monica Ferguson and her husband Randy of Greenville. A sister, Margaret Cornman of Jamestown; a brother, Kenneth Wilson and his wife Barbara of West Middlesex; 3 sister in laws, Doris Lockwood and her husband Ronald of Cochranton, Marsha Cornman and her husband Clayton of Georgia and Norma Blair of Cochranton. 2 brother in laws, Tom Blair of Cochranton and Tim Blair and his wife Ruth of Cochranton, 5 grandchildren, Benjamin Mott, Nicholas Mott, Laurel Dangrow, Evan Ferguson and Raina Ferguson. 3 great grandchildren, Evelyn Dangrow, Adaline Dangrow and Samuel Dangrow..

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Larry Wilson and Wayne Wilson.
