Rose Anna (George) Robinson

Rose Anna Robinson, Transfer, (Pymatuming Twp.) passed way at the UMPC Mercy, Pittsburgh at 4:21 pm on Saturday, December 7, 2019.  She was 83.

She was born in Harrisburg on February 11, 1936 a daughter of the late John A. and Catherine I. (Nolte) George.  On November 7, 1953 she married Budd Richard “Robie” Robinson who preceded her in death on April 30, 2013. 

Rose Anna was a homemaker, who enjoyed sewing, crocheting and crafts, she had a special talent and enjoyment in making porcelain dolls, which she would add to her collection.

She is survived by a son, Ross Robinson and his wife Karen; a daughter, Darlene Goodemote and her husband Lee with whom she made her home. 1 brother, Richard W. George and his wife Kim; 4 sisters, Mary L. Vogel and her husband Richard, Joan A. Hupp, Frances E. Blowers and her husband Terrence and Karen L. Hahn.  7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 59 years and 6 siblings.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 169 Second Street, Fredonia with Rev. Eric M. Peters officiating.  She will be laid to rest next to her husband at the Millbank Cemetery.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until 11:00 AM.

The family has suggested that memorial tributes may be made to the charity of the donor choice.
