Dear Ethel,
I am so very sorry, wish I could be there for you! I know this is the hardest time of your life, but, as Earle told me on his death bed, "Don't sit around and morn, just live on your memories, we have so many wonderful ones!" I know you do too! You have had a good life. I'm sure you will always feel Rod right beside you like I do Earle. You have a wonderful supporting family that will be there for you I'm sure! God Bless and keep you, I will keep you in my prayers.

To one of the greatest men I had in my life, my Uncle Rod. I am so heartbroken that I can not be there to celebrate your life. All of your nephews and niece and great nephew in Texas are surely going to miss you. I am so blessed that my son had you in his. You will always be in our hearts! So many memories with you will always live on in us. To Aunt Ethel, we love you and I pray God gives you strength through this loss. To Dale, Beth, Danielle and Justin, I am so sorry for you loss. I pray that God gives you strength and he wraps his arms around you all to help you through this difficult time. We wish we could all be there. Please know that you are in our hearts and thoughts.
