Raymond L. Gladd,Jr. a resident of Amity Personal Care Home Slippery Rock and formerly of Fredonia, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2019. He was 72.
He was born in Franklin, PA on December 1, 1946 a son of the late Raymond Lloyd and Dama Ruth (McIntyre) Gladd, Sr. Raymond attended the University of Akron where he received a degree in marketing, followed by a career in advertising and sales. He was a US Army veteran serving in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his two children, Laura (Mike) Baumgartner, Atlanta Georgia and Jeff Gladd, Charleston, SC and two grandchildren, Sam and Sadie Barber.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Gladd.
A service celebrating the life of Raymond will be held on Friday, August 10, 2019 at 10:00 am at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 169 Second Street, Fredonia with Rev. Tina Keller, pastor of the Fredonia United Methodist Church officiating. Raymond will be laid to rest next to his parents at the Emlenton Cemetery.
