Patricia M. (Moke) Bowers

Patricia M. Bowers, Liberty Street, Fredonia, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, September 25, 2018 at her residence following a courageous battle with cancer.  She was 71

She was born in McKeesport, PA on May 18, 1947 a daughter of the late Andrew and Johanna (Nagy) Moke.  On June 22, 1996 she married Richard A. Bowers who survives.  Pat had been a caregiver to many,  having been employed at local nursing homes and also doing private duty care.  She had a passion for the Relay For Life programs in Greenville and Mercer and would volunteer and contribute towards the programs success.  She was an avid collector of Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls having amassed an impressive collection.   She loved her cats and gardening.  She was a fan of NASCAR and enjoyed working puzzles, shopping and traveling with her husband.  Her biggest enjoyment was found spending time with her family and friends.  She was a member of the Fredonia Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Trisha Morrison and Audie Yeager of Clarks Mills, Michelle Argyle, Fredonia, Laura Green, Fredonia, Jeffrey Bowers, Connecticut and Jennifer Gould and her husband Richard,  Connecticut; two sisters, Carol Keener, Georgia and Donna Chaney, Hubbard, Ohio; Grandchildren, Joshua Yeager, Travis Yeager, Tiffany Parrish, Brandon Green, Trisha Green, Gavin Gould, Bryson Gould;  Great Grandchildren, Nevaeh Morrison, Elcee, Isabel, Regee, Parker, Tyson, and Raymond Blythe, Jase Yeager,Cooper Yeager and Jaxson Green

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald Moke; three sisters, Lillian Crafton, Louise Beddard and Rosemary Moke.

The funeral service will be held at the Fredonia Presbyterian Church, 24 Water Street, Fredonia on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev. Eric M. Peters officiating.  The interment will follow at the Millbank cemetery.  Family and friends may call at the Fredonis Branch of the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 169 Second Street, Fredonia on Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 pm and at the church Saturday from 10:00 to time of service and are invited to share memories and condolences online at www.snyderfh.com
