Patricia Ann (Howell) Beveridge

Patricia Ann (Howell) Beveridge, Meadville passed away on Wednesday afternoon, May 2, 2018 at the Marquette Hospice House, Meadville with her family by her side.  She was 78.

She was born in Thomas, WV. on July 18, 1939 a daughter of the late George C. and Laura (Ponikvar) Howell.  Patty attended St. Peter’s Catholic High School and Fairmont State University, where she met her future husband V. Keith Beveridge.  They had their first date on January 30, 1959 and on June 30, 1959 Keith proposed and they were united in marriage on August 22, 1959.  Patty worked many years at McCrosky Tool and later at Geico Insurance in Virginia where she was named National Sales Leader in 1997 and 1998.

She is survived by her husband of 59 years, V. Keith Beveridge.  Five children, Meridith (Harold) Getty of Meadville, Brian (Gloria) Beveridge of Fredericksburg, VA, Don (Bree) Beveridge of Meadville, Cyndy (Jerry) Bratu of Collinsville, MS and Greg (Erika) Beveridge of Meadville.  10 grandchildren, Melanie Peterson, Clark (Laura) Peterson and Jillian Peterson and her fiancé Casey Miller, Matt and Nathan Beveridge, Jady, Bethany and Erin Bratu, Ashleigh and Brody Beveridge.  4 greatgrandchildren, Calvin and Chase Miller, Elisabeth Peterson and Emersyn Coa.  4 sisters, Jeanne Howell of Lexington, NC, Betty (Henry) Caraway of Charleston, SC, Marie (John) Marchio of Shinston, WV and Kathi (Lennox) McClendon of Lexington, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister, Barbara Sue Howell.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 3:00 pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 – 3:00 pm and are invited to share memories and condolences with the family online at snyderfh.com.
