Michael J. Clark, Cranberry, (formerly of Hadley) passed away at 1:37 PM on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in the comfort of his home. He was 57.
Michael was born in Meadville on December 7, 1960 a son of Larry J. and Mary E. (Russell) Clark. He was a 1978 graduate of the Commodore Perry High School and went onto to attend Penn State Shenango Valley Campus and the Edinboro State College where he received a bachelor degree in History. Michael retired from the U.S. Postal Service, last serving as the post master of the Titusville Post Office. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed watching and playing softball and collecting cars.
Michael is remembered by his family as being a gentleman with a huge heart, never judgmental and always willing to do anything for anybody. His sense of humor and quick wit always brought laugher where ever he was at. He was an avid fan of the Bee Gee's and retained extensive knowledgeable of the trivia related to them. He loved and enjoyed the moments he shared with his niece and nephews and his dog Riley held a special place in his life and was a faithful companion.
He is survived by his mother, Mary E. Clark, Hadley; his sister Denise Palmero and her husband Larry, Cambridge Springs; a special friend, Mary Kelly, Cranberry and her two daughters, Amanda Witherell, Cranberry and Megan Witherell, Clarion, both who were very special to Michael and whom he thought of as his daughters, he always enjoyed watching their participation in playing softball. A niece and 3 nephews, Michael Palmero, Carly Palmero, Matthew Palmero and Marcus Palmero; a great niece and 2 great nephews, Lola Clark, Cameron Palmero and Emery Palmero
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry J. Clark.
The funeral service will be held on Sunday, at 2:00 pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville with Rev. Dr. Carl Nicklas, family friend officiating. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 4:00 -7:00 pm and on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 time of service.
