Kimerly F. McCracken, Hadley, Sandy Creek Twp., passed away Wednesday Morning January 15, 2020 in the comfort of her home with her family by her side. She was 57.
Kim was born in Erie, PA on April 11, 1962 a daughter of the late William Jefferson and Kathryn Ella (Edwards) McCracken. Kim was the first female paramedic to have served in Crawford County, having been employed with several of the local ambulance services over the years. She then went onto to work for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections, Cambridge Springs, from which she had retired.
She was a member of the Sheakleyville Nazarene Church.
Kim is survived by her husband of 23 years, Douglas Haggerty, Hadley; a daughter, Katelyn McKibben, Hadley, 2 brothers, William McCracken, Springboro and James (Darlene) McCracken, Endeavor; 4 sisters, Margaret Irwin, Springfield, MA, Carolyn (Drew) Jusklain, Belchertown, MA, Jeane McCracken, Ware, MA and Cathy McCracken, Elgin, SC., a very special grand daughter, Emily Turner, Hadley and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bradley McCracken.
Family and friends may call at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville on Friday January 17, 2020from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday January 18, 2020 at 11:00 am with Pastor Lisa Grabb of the Sheakleyville Nazarene Church.
