Kenneth Brian Gormley

Kenneth Brian Gormley of Latrobe, formerly of Braddock died December 22, 2017 after a brief hospitalization. He was 79.

Ken was born July 10, 1938 in Braddock, son of James Russell and Stella Romankewicz Gormley.  He married Nancy Kirk-Gormley and is survived by a daughter, Adrianne (Gerald) Cantor of Texas, and a son, James (Marnee) Gormley of Pennsylvania. 

Ken served in the U.S. Army, and retired as a crane operator for U.S. Steel at the Edgar Thompson Plant in Braddock. In addition to his children, Ken is survived by brothers Arthur Gormley, Regis Gormley, and Robert Gormley, sister Gladys Pawlik, seven grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brothers Russell and Donald Gormley. 

Interment will be at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies on Friday December 29 following a brief service at the cemetery at 2 pm, Pastor David Weaver officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.
