Judith A. Carlson, a resident of Avalon Springs, Mercer and formerly of Hempfield Twp., Greenville passed away at 3:00 pm on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the Sharon Regional Health Systems. She was 76.
She was born in Warren, Pa. on June 19, 1942 a daughter of the late Neal and Gladys (Bailey) Raub. On October 25, 1970 she married Edward E. Carlson who had preceded her in death on October 22, 2017. Judith had been employed as a pharmacy technician at the Reynolds Pharmacy for many years. She was a member of the St. Marks United Church of Christ, Fredonia.
She is survived by a daughter, Susan Palmiter and her husband Michael of Greenville; a son Douglas Carlson and his spouse Ray Kramer of Lutz, FL and a step son, Edward Carlson and his wife Carmella of Greenville. Three grandchildren, Chevelle Carlson, Jakob Palmiter and Kadie Palmiter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
The funeral and committal service will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 6:00 pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 1699 Second Street, Fredonia with Rev. Bryan Warner, pastor of the Grace Chapel Community Church, Hermitage officiating. The interment will be at the Delaware Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4:00 – 6:00 pm .
