David W. Matovich, Hadley (Perry Twp.) passed away Sunday afternoon, December 2, 2018 at the UPMC-Hamot following a courageous battle with cancer. He was 55.
He was born in Pittsburgh, Pa. on April 4, 1963 a son of the late Robert and Patricia (Gray) Matovich.
He was a graduate of the Commodore Perry High School. David had worked at the former Slater Ford, Stoneboro and later at the R.D.Werner Company and Signature Aluminum, Greenville. He was a car enthusiast who enjoyed working on vehicles and had previously done a restoration.
He is survived by his siblings, Karen Henry and her husband Patrick, Lancaster, Ohio, Rebecca Kelton and her husband Bill of Pittsburgh, Robert Matovich of Hadley, Curtis Matovich, San Diego and Douglas Matovich and his wife Gudrun of Canonsburg; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
It was David’s desire that no services be held and that cremation be selected as disposition.
