Clifton A. Gregory

Clifton A. Gregory, Loper Road, Hadley (Perry Twp.) passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 9:30 PM following a courageous battle with cancer.  He was 60.

He was born in Sewickley, on August 19, 1958 a son of the later Ronald C. and Emagene Mae (Torrence) Gregory.  He had attended the Commodore Perry High School and had been employed at R.D. Werner Company for 30 years, he then went onto obtain his GED and graduate from the New Castle School of Trades where he obtained his CDL license.  He finished his working career working at the   O.D. Anderson Coach and Travel Company.  He had attended the Oak Grove Church, Mercer.  Cliff enjoyed any type of racing that involved a motor, he was an excellent mechanic and enjoyed working on engines, He was an avid hunter.  His 4 grandchildren were his pride and joy

Clifton is survived by a son, Jeremiah Gregory, Hadley; a daughter, Shanna Hills and her husband Ryan of Grenville; three sisters, Carroll Reeder and her husband Bill, Spokane, WA; Gwen Gregory, Greenville; and Beth Tanner and her husband Don, Greenville; and five brothers, Reese Gregory and wife Darlene, Hadley; Kenneth Gregory, Clarks Mills, PA; Daryl Gregory and wife Brenda, Hadley; Fred Gregory and wife Michelle, Sandy Lake; and Mark Gregory and wife Carolyn, Greenville.  4 grandchildren, Makayla Gregory, Jaxson Gergory, Kylah Hills and Mirandah Hills.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Esther Stancovic.

The Funeral  Service celebrating the Life of Clifton Gregory will be held on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at 6:00 pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville with Rev. Randy Ritchey, pastor of the Oak Grove Church officiating.  He will be laid to rest at a later date at the Greenfield Cemetery.  Family and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 – 5:45 pm and are invited to share memories and condolences online at snyderfh.com
