Charles Eugene Brown

Charles Eugene Brown, Meadville (Union Twp.) passed away at 2:19 am on July 19, 2018 at the Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown.  He was 72.

He was born in Meadville on December 1, 1945 a son of the late Orion and Blanche (Rihel) Brown.  On October 21, 2000 he married Darleen J. Droz Swan.  Charles had worked for Lakeview Ford, Conneaut Lake and had retired as the manager of the body shop.  He was of the protestant faith.

He is survived by his wife Darleen, a son, Bryan Brown and his wife Tracy of Boise, Idaho; a daughter Leighann Nagg and her husband Dave of Claysville; 2 stepsons, Richard Swan of Meadville and William Swan and his wife Lisa of Lakeland, Florida. A brother, William Brown and his wife Kathy of Cochranton; two sisters, Esther Garwood of Richmond, Indiana and Barbara Mascitti of Meadville and two grandchildren, Erika and Jessica

He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Irene Klingensmith and Hazel William and 3 brothers, Raymond Brown, Dave Brown and Henry Brown.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville with Pastor Larry Miller of the Faith United Methodist Church, Geneva officiating.  The interment will follow at the Springs Cemetery, Springboro.  Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 5:00-8:00 pm and on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00.
