So sorry to hear of Carl's passing. I remember Carl from the good old '70s at PAHA, Penn Ohio, and Jane Miller's trail rides. It was great to reconnect with Carl at some of the local shows 10 years or so ago. He will certainly be missed. -- Amy

I have known Carl for over 40 years and will miss him. He took me to horse shows and the horse club meetings and banquets, He has been President of ICHA and the Brookfield Saddle Club, run the food booth, got Officials for most of the shows they put on. He knew most of the rules and people that went to horse shows in the Tri-state area. Not seeing him at the shows will be a heart hurting loss. Rest in Peace, Carl, I know you will still be with us in our hearts.

I was so sad to hear about Carl. We had a lot of good times growing up in the holler out near Bethany. Jumping in the old swimming hole by the bridge. Riding horses and over night stays at each others house. We even took some of his Dad's liquor, rode way out in the woods, hobbled the horses, and drank the night away. I was 16 and he was 14 !! Carl drove his dad's car around the farm when he wasn't supposed to. He started to back it into the barn, and the back wheels broke through the floor. I offer my condolences and prayers to the family and will miss Carl a whole lot. RIP, my friend.
