Amber Lynn (Wimer) Reges, Clarks Mills (Deer Creek Twp.) passed way unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, June 13, 2018 at the Emergency Department of the UPMC Horizon, Greenville. She was 23.
Amber was born in Clarks Mills, on Sept. 5, 1994 a daughter to Kenneth and DeAnna (Smock) Wimer. She had attended Commodore Perry High School and the Mercer County Career Center where she had taken Nurses Aide classes. She had been involved in her younger years in the 4H program and had played basketball while in high school. On July 26, 2012 she married Allin Reges who survives.
Amber is survived by her two children, Mikayla Reges, Sheakleyville and Oliver Wimer, Oil City, who were her world and she felt so blessed to have both her daughter and her son in her life and she had loved them with all her heart and soul. In addition to her children, she is survived by her father, Kenneth Wimer and his wife Suzanne of Clarks Mills, her mother DeAnna “Dee” Wimer and her fiancé Mark Heckman, Clarks Mills. Her grandparents, Patricia Smock of Clarks Mills and Don and Berdella Wimer of Sandy Lake. Two sisters, Ashley Connelly and her husband Brenden of Irondale, Alabama and Kristen Amon and her fiancée Mike Collar of Greenville. Three nieces and nephews, Robert Amon, Michael Amon and Bailynn Breese.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Robert Smock.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville with Rev. Philip Chalfant, interim pastor of the Hadley Presbyterian Church officiating. The interment with committal prayers will follow at the Sheakleyville Cemetery.
