Raymond Carl Redfoot, age 85, of Millcreek Twp., passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at St. Vincent Hospital. Born in Hadley, Pa., January 11, 1932, he was a son of the late Raymond LeRoy Redfoot and Marguerite (Baer) Redfoot.
Raymond was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Germany during the Korean War. He had worked as a welder and later a truck driver for Chicago Bridge & Iron. He retired from O.D. Anderson Tours, where he was a tour bus driver for 20 years. He was past president of the Kiwanis Club of Millcreek and Lt. Governor of NW PA Kiwanis (Region 1). He was also the scout leader for the Fredonia, Pa. Boy Scout Troop. He was previously an elder in the Presbyterian Church and is currently a member of New Hope Presbyterian. He was an avid gardener.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Edna Lucille (Fox) Redfoot and two siblings.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Irene M. (Olowinski) Redfoot; six children, Raymond Francis Redfoot, of Grove City, Pa., Carol Reynolds, of Grand Junction, Colo., Ronda Rayman, husband Kevin, of Jamestown, Pa., Sharon Grenberg, husband Mark Miller, of Cincinnati, Paul Grenberg, Fiancée Michelle Graves, of Erie and Jeanine Grenberg, husband Anthony Rudd, of Northfield, Minn.; seven grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; a large number of nieces and nephews also survive; he is also survived by 8 brothers and sisters.
Friends are invited to call at Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory Inc. 169 Second Street, Fredonia on Sunday from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. The interment and committal prayers will follow at the Millbank Cemetery with Rev. Charles McClung, pastor of the New Hope Presbyterian Church.
