Paul C. Yoos

Paul Yoos died from injuries sustained in a one car accident early Monday morning, September 21, 2015.  He was born on May 20, 1933 in Ambridge, PA the youngest son of Ruth C. (Brunsell) and Victor Yoos.  He graduated from Ambridge High School in 1951 and served in the U.S. Marine Corps, honorably discharged in 1956.  
On May 1, 1959, he married the former Louise Striffler at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Ambridge, and in July 1960 they started a family with the arrival of first son, Paul Scott, followed by Charlotte and Andy.

Paul worked as an independent trucker and in January 1970, the family moved to Clarks Mills, where Paul both continued to drive truck and embarked on many ambitious projects in support of his wife's artistic endeavors.  He was a man of countless constructive and mechanical talents who used those skills to support his family and fulfill requests for help from friends and relatives. In the prime of his life he was a very busy and thoughtful man with an inexhaustible ability to always pitch in.

He is survived by son Paul Scott and his wife Deborah Yoos; their children Nicholas Paul and Chelsea Leigh: daughter Charlotte Yoos of Butler, PA, son Andrew Yoos of Kennett Square, PA, and his sister, Wanda Huppenthal of Sewickley, PA. He was preceded in death my his wife Louise in 1992 and his brother Victor in 2001.

There will be no public viewing, but a memorial service will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 10 Beil Hill Rd, Greenville, PA 16125 on Saturday, October 3rd at 11:00 a.m.
