John Albert Williamson

John Albert Williamson, Hempfield Twp. passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the UPMC – Greenville.  He was 63.

John was born in Greenville on May 30, 1954 a son of Lawrence and Daisy (Ward) Williamson.  He had graduated from Greenville High School. Throughout his working years, he had been a talented carpenter, painter and mechanic.  He later become disabled and has been battling cancer for the past two years.

John is remembered by his family as being a very unique and knowledgeable person, who possessed a deep appreciation for the performing arts and special ear for music which he enjoyed playing on his guitar.

He is survived by his parents of Greenville; a brother, David Williamson of Greenville; three sisters, Jean Eaton of Greenville, Kathy Loutzenhiser of Greenville and Molly Best of Arizona.  He will be missed by his many friends, family and nieces and nephews.

A service celebrating the life of John will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Christian Assembly Church, 111 Main Street, Greenville with Rev. Joel DiAngie officiating. 

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory. Inc. 169 Second Street, Fredonia.  Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at snyderfh.com
