Jerald A. Schrag

Jerald A. Schrag, Ackerman Drive, Meadville, (Union Twp.) passed away at UPMC Hamot at 6:33 pm on Friday, August 12, 2016.  He was 55.

Jerald was born in Pittsburgh, PA on March 5, 1961, a son of Jack Schrag and Alice (Salser) Pometo.  On July 19, 2003 he married Belinda Nicholson, of Meadville, who survives at the residence.  He had been employed for Zinchak for many years before becoming self-employed by opening his own family restaurant. He owned and operated Aunt Bee’s Restaurant and Catering of Cochranton since July 1998. His greatest joy was brought by his grandchildren and family. He was an avid NASCAR fan who also enjoyed attending MOPAR car shows.

He is survived by his wife, Belinda Schrag at home; 4 daughter, Shannon Boos and her husband John, Plant City, Florida, Coty Clemente and her husband Anthony of Clarks Mills, Carrie Smith and husband Jason, Saegertown  and Crissy Schrag of  Meadville; Eight grandchildren, Damien Lariz, Corrina Boos, Abigail and Tyler Clemente, Conner and Colby Smith, Kaylee McMahon and Regan Schrag his mother, Alice Pometo, of  Pittsburgh; three sisters, Robin Fleming and her husband Dale of Pittsburgh, Brenda Price and husband Jeff of Kentucky, and  Janice Schrag of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Jackie Schrag of Ohio and Jimmy Schrag of California;.

He was preceded in death by his father and nephew.

Aunt Bee’s will be closed on August 16th in honor of Jerald and A Celebration of  Life for Jerald will be held from 2:00-4:00 pm Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at Aunt Bee’s Restaurant, 17408 Smock Dr. Cochranton, PA 16314. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and the direction of the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville.  Those wishing may share memories and condolences with the family online at snyderfh.com
