Jacqueline Jean Blakeslee, 45, of Maryville, TN and formerly Hadley, PA, passed unexpectedly on June 20, 2016.

Jackie was born August 10, 1970 in Meadville, PA to Sandra Vinson and Warren Blakeslee. She was raised in Hadley, PA and graduated from Commodore Perry high school in 1988. She then went on to Edinboro University where she received a bachelor of arts degree in English and Journalism in 1994. Jackie had a true zest for life and was an avid traveler that loved experiencing different cultures. She lived and traveled all over the world. She studied and taught in London and Taiwan and lived in several states across America. She would call home with tales of her wild adventures and send letters full of even more stories and sketches. She was an artist. She wrote stories of her experiences and even co-authored a book along with several screenplays. Her love of writing often mixed with her love of music and she would write, sing and perform her own original songs. Animals were a large part of her life and she would help and adopt animals in need. She was rarely without a trusty dog by her side. She was an entrepreneur that was always developing new ideas and working on the next big thing. She also loved her family dearly.

She is survived by her mother, Sandra Vinson, her father Warren Blakeslee and two siblings; Andrew W. Blakeslee and Stacie Blakeslee. She is also survived by two nieces and one nephew; Anne Bundy, Kayla Young and Andrew N. Blakeslee.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents Muriel and Paul Blakeslee and Grandma Brown and Andrew Fleming and her step father Jimmie B. Vinson.
