Ivarea J. (Roberts) Campbell

March 15, 1927 ~ December 11, 2017 (age 90) 90 Years Old

Ivarea J. Campbell of Quinter Road, Hadley, (Salem Twp.) passed away Monday, December 11, 2017 at 7:55 pm at her son’s residence in Meadville. She was 90.

She was born in Salem Township on March 15, 1927, a daughter of the late Frank and Ethel (Palm) Roberts. On June 17, 1950 she married Raymond Merle Campbell who preceded her in death on May 3, 2013.

Ivarea graduated from Penn High School in Greenville and went on to graduate from New Castle School of Business. She was a 40 year employee of the R.D. Werner Company in the billing department from which she retired. Ivarea loved gardening and music but she got the most joy from spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was of the Methodist faith.

Ivarea is survived by two sons, Thomas D. Campbell, Sr. and his wife Catherine of Meadville and Kevin M. Campbell and his companion Colleen Donahue of Hadley, a sister, Treva Bratek and her husband William of Hadley, a brother, Donald Roberts and his wife Janet of Saegertown, five grandchildren, Thomas D. Campbell, Jr. and his wife Marla, Christopher M. Campbell, Ashley Campbell and her companion Carter Stallsmith, Kirk T. Campbell, Kyle E. Campbell, and three great grandchildren, Nathaniel J. Campbell, Brianna Campbell and Savannah Stallsmith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Tim Campbell, four sisters, Dorothy Gravatt, Pearl Smith, Ruby Clark, Lois Rhea and nine brothers, Floyd Roberts, LeRoy Roberts, Cecil Roberts, Malcolm Roberts, Clifford Roberts, John Roberts, Raymond Roberts, Kenneth Roberts and Robert “Alf” Roberts.

 

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville with Rev. Michael Visniesky, nephew of Mrs. Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends on December 16, 2017 at the funeral home from 1:00pm to 2:00pm time of service. Cremation has been selected as disposition.
