Howard B. Brittner

Howard B. Brittner of Fredonia passed away Friday, September 22, 2017 at his residence. He was 82.

He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on June 29, 1935 a son of the late Herbert and Delores (Gross) Brittner. On July 1, 1989 he married the former Margaret Taylor. He was a concrete mason by trade and belonged to the local union.

He is survived by his wife; six children: Steve, Howard, David, Daniel, Teresa, and Deborah; three stepchildren: Virginia, Kenneth and Terry; two brothers, two sisters, 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 8:00pm at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 3223 Perry Hwy., Sheakleyville with Rev. Timothy Bowser officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8pm and are invited to share memories and condolences online at snyderfh.com

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that any donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
