Harold J. "Jerry" Morrison

Harold J. “Jerry” Morrison, Jr.,  Perry Hwy, Hadley (Sandy Creek Twp.) passed way from natural causes at his residence on Saturday, October 15, 2016.  He was 52.

He was born in Greenville, on May 23, 1964 a son of the late Harold J. and Della L. (Adams) Morrison, Sr. 

Jerry as he was known to his family and friends, had attended Reynolds High School.  He had been employed as a Truck Driver by CCX- West Middlesex and Shenango River Transport, prior to his having become disabled. In his earlier years he had also worked with his father operating Morrison Lawn Mowing.  He was a member of the Greenville Moose, The Greenville Elks and The Pumphouse Station 45, Hartstown.  He enjoyed snowmobile racing, riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and attending Bike week in Daytona, Florida.  He also was an avid NASCAR fan.  He loved his dog “Sophie” who became his companion.

He is survived by two stepsons, Joshua Yeager and his wife Tanya of Greenville and Travis Yeager and his wife Katie of Greenville. Three sisters, Patty Morrison Frey of Greenville, Clara Winner of Sharpsville and Brenda Jordan of Greenville.  4 step grandchildren, 4 nieces, 4 nephews  two great nieces and a great nephew.

A Celebration of Jerry’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Robert L. Snyder Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 169 Second Street, Fredonia with the Rev. Eric Peters, pastor of the Fredonia Presbyterian Church officiating.  Cremation through the funeral home crematory has been selected as disposition.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am and are invited to share memories and condolences online at snyderfh.com.

The family has suggested that memorial tributes be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
